If the teacher can't laugh and share happiness with his students, lecture will become a dull and stifling experience or knowledge, lecture can be a challenge, of that there is no doubt so we as teachers of English language do strongly believe that, if we take a moment to stop and see the joke that comes through the time of lecture, the joke that comes from the bottom of student's heart, we can change our entire day.
The truth is that jokes are funny because they contain a grain of truth about life or will create a captivating atmosphere for the lecture that would not be able to be shown through any other medium, not only this but also the teacher's smile has the power to point out subtle ironies of lecture that we might get shot in the head for, if we were to say them straight out, that is why as teachers, we try so hard to make you enjoying your time, we try so hard to make you happy.
